The opportunity

A long-established Caribbean citizenship, with reach into Europe and beyond.

Antigua and Barbuda has operated one of the Caribbean’s most enduring citizenship programmes, and it remains among the most efficient for a family. A single qualifying contribution can extend to a spouse, children and, on certain routes, parents and grandparents.

The passport opens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to roughly 150 destinations, including the Schengen Area, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong — a meaningful widening of where a family can travel, hold accounts and conduct business.

The routes

How the investment is made.

01

National Development Fund

A non-refundable contribution from USD 230,000, covering a family of up to four.

02

Approved real estate

Purchase of a government-approved property, held for the required period.

03

University of the West Indies Fund

A route designed for larger families, from six applicants.

Considered within the whole

A second citizenship is rarely a decision on its own. Where you hold it touches your tax position, your succession, and the structures that hold your wealth. We place the choice inside the whole of your affairs — so it strengthens the rest, rather than working against it.

Important information

The basis on which we advise.

The figures shown are minimum qualifying investments and are indicative only. Government charges, due-diligence and processing fees, and professional costs apply in addition, and programme terms, thresholds and benefits are set by the relevant government and change from time to time. Nothing here is an offer or a solicitation.

ORA Black advises on the selection and structuring of these programmes within the whole of your affairs. Regulated financial services, where required, are provided through our partnership with NEBA Private Clients, under the authorisation of the entity licensed to act in the relevant jurisdiction. Advice is given only under a formal engagement, on the basis of your specific circumstances.
