Tax Advisory
Private Advisory
Capital gains reporting.
Reporting of gains, including the 60-day return on UK residential property disposals.
What it is
Reported on time.
Gains carry their own reporting, and some of it on a short clock: a gain on UK residential property must be reported and the tax paid within 60 days of completion, separately from the annual return. Missing it is a needless penalty on a position that may otherwise be entirely in order.
We report your gains accurately and on time — the 60-day property return where it applies, and gains within the annual return where it does not — with reliefs and base cost properly reflected.
How we advise
The 60-day property return
Reporting UK residential property gains within the deadline.
Gains in the annual return
Reporting other gains correctly within self-assessment.
Reliefs and base cost
Reflecting the reliefs and acquisition cost that reduce the gain.
Cross-border gains
Reporting gains with a connection to more than one country.
